CField Construction Secures £176m in contracts to Deliver 2 Major Schemes for Fusion Group
Major contract awards will see the delivery of over 1,200 PBSA beds and 79 affordable homes ahead of the 2028 academic year.
CField Construction has been officially appointed as the main contractor by Fusion Group to deliver two landmark developments in London and Glasgow. The major contract awards, representing a combined value of £176m, will provide essential purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and affordable housing across two major UK cities. Both schemes are scheduled for handover ahead of the 2028 academic year.
In London, CField Construction will deliver a £97 million mixed-use scheme in Wood Green. This major project will feature a 636-bed PBSA building alongside 79 much needed affordable homes, integrating vibrant community focused public realm spaces and modern sustainable amenities.
In Glasgow, CField Construction has broken ground on a £79 million, 633-bed PBSA development on the iconic Sauchiehall Street. The project retains an existing 1930’s Art Deco façade and aims to rejuvenate the local streetscape in part by reinstating the historic Wellington arcade while providing sustainable, community-driven urban living tailored for the city’s expanding student population.
The dual appointment underscores a robust corporate alignment and collaboration between the two organisations as they expand their respective footprints across the UK.
